1970 Ford F-100 Additional Info:
This is a project truck as it is not drive-able at the moment. Some of you may remember the truck advertised here a couple years ago with the 302 and 4 speed shown in the pics. Didn't sell then, might sell now! The 302 shown in the pics has been sold and is NOT included, just using the same old pics. Nothing changed, still sitting in the garage. This is a near perfect, unmolested body. Any rust on it would be considered superficial. Has a little in the door corners but if you are looking at this project then you are familiar with early Ford door corners, easy fix. I have owned this truck since the late 80's and has always been a back burner project and never finished. Originally it was to have that Turbocharged 302 in the pics along with a Tremec T5 transmission but that changed direction with the sale of the 302. After deciding to go big block I ended up with a bored and stroked 460...... or 533 now. It is new, never run still on the stand. Balanced and blue printed. It was built by local engine shop. Has 11:1 pistons, Lunati roller, as much aluminum as I could get on it to reduce weight. No carb, exhaust or flywheel yet as I haven't decided which way to go on the transmission. Has F-250 suspension, 4 wheel disc brakes, sway bars both ends, 4.00 posi-traction.
Sold with Bill of Sale only as antique/classic vehicles in Georgia do not always have a title. This is stated on the registration. This is a known fact in other states and does not create a problem. Current registration will suffice with Bill of Sale.
I'll list some of the parts that would go with it, too many to list as I have been collecting parts since the 70's for these type trucks.....yeah, I'm old. Have a pair of 68 Mustang core seats I intended to use in it. No mounts for them but I have prints of the originals to duplicate. I've only seen 2 67-72 trucks in my life that had original bucket seats. Aluminum radiator, all NEW dash plastics.... bezel, glass etc., NEW dash pad but it's OEM blue. Grill is NOS and have more inserts. New windshield, sliding back window, all rubber seals/moldings. Most all NEW OEM chrome and clips. Have hydraulic clutch kit in case I don't go automatic. The wheels on it are some of the last real American Racing slots that were available from sometime in the early to mid 90's, not a mark on them, almost no miles. Have smooth rear bumper but needs re-plating. Also, have another complete 9" rear end available. Has been on a rack in an aircraft hangar for 25 years.
I'll have a LOT of parts and pieces I have collected over the years for these trucks, some new, some used I would make available for a reasonable price to whoever might end up with this truck. Such as, knobs, handles, screws, clips, bolts, emblems, lenses, steering wheels, factory AC controls, original '72 "Stereo" radio, etc. They may not have a great value but sure makes it easier when you are trying to detail out and finish up a project. I don't plan on building another F-100, this would be number 4.
Don't really want to sell it but I have too many projects and gotta cut some loose. I build airplanes mostly, which is why I don't have time to finish this. So if you were to have any Piper Cub, Super Cub, Pacer, Lycoming O-320 or O-360 parts, projects, pieces laying around you could possibly use that as a partial form of payment......... no junk.
I've got about 12K in the engine so that kinda gives us a place to start. Not gonna give it away, not a crisis sale but if you are looking for a real clean start for a F-100 I don't think you will find a straighter one than this.
Will need a $2000 at end of auction required for deposit so I know you are serious. Any secure form of payment for balance accepted at time of pick up or within 10 days unless other arrangements are made. ............... no co-signer needed for cash!
Delivery a possibility, would depend on time and distance. Will help arrange for shipping or transport if needed. If you get here and think this truck has been misrepresented in any way I will refund your deposit.
Any questions or you want to make an offer, email or call.
