• This 1950 Ford F-1 pickup has remained with the same family since being purchased new. In 2016 we wanted to restore it to it's original fit and finish therefore we commissioned a refurbishment which included a repaint in the original blue, new interior upholstery to bring this beauty back to it's 1950 allure. The original 239ci flathead V8 was also rebuilt and is mated to a floor-shifted 3-speed manual transmission. Modifications include a black rear bumper, newer running boards, and lap belts for the bench seat. This F-1 pickup is offered with receipts totaling $32k for the 2016 refurbishment, and a clean title in the seller’s name. This F1 is gorgeous, a real head turner on the road, ideal for wedding venues, photo shoots, marketing and all around fun for car shows and the relaxing country drive on the weekend. The tailgate, quarter panels, and grille were replaced, an aftermarket black rear bumper was fitted and the steel wheels are painted to match the body and wear Kelly tires all around. The running boards feature aluminum foot-plates on both sides and the suspension and braking systems benefit from new components. The wooden bed rails were replaced and include newer stainless steel hardware. The cabin was also addressed during the refurbishment, and received new tan upholstery for the bench seat and headliner. Lap belts for both driver, middle and passenger side were installed, and stock instrumentation is retained. **Please note, the housing around the ignition is loose, and the windshield wiper, odometer, and speedometer are inoperable as they are the originals. They are almost 70 years old.** The odometer currently displays just over 88k miles, with true mileage unknown. Less than 100 miles have been added by the seller since being restored. The original-style 239ci flathead V8, which was rated at around 100 horsepower from the factory.
