1968 Ford F-250 Additional Info:
1968 Ford 250 3/4 ton truck. This is a cool old truck, it has a 300 straight 6 with a 4 speed and power steering. The odometer shows 64,800 miles and the guy I bought it from said it was original mileage and I would believe it. It is really solid, it has one bracket under the cab that has a spot that has rusted through and I will try to add some pics. As for the rest of it I haven't found any bad spots. It looks to have had one older repaint in the original turquoise color, it's not a show quality paint job but it's a pretty good driver. Everything on the truck works like it is supposed to and I drive this everywhere picking up car parts. The suspension is tight the tires are new and with the power steering it drives great for a 50 something year old truck. All of the gauges work and are accurate, the horn, lights, blinkers all work. The brakes are 4 wheel drum but they work well, the heater works great, the alternator is newer, the headlights are Halogen and nice and bright, the interior is all new and comfortable, it has been updated with 3 point seat belts for safety, there is a fold down arm rest in the seat and the headliner and visors are new also.
As far as the bad, there is nothing major... the exhaust manifold has a small leak, the oil pan has a small leak (really just a few drips, not bad for any old car!), the 4 speed is sloppy just like ANY old 4 speed! I never hesitate to take this truck anywhere, I have taken it on a 6 hour road trip to pick up parts and had zero issues. The only reason I am selling this truck is because I have an old Dodge truck I am almost finished with and I need the garage space.
This truck is for sale as is, the buyer is responsible for shipping but I can assist in loading. $500 Deposit is due within 48 hours of the auction end and the remaining balance within 7 days. I accept cash or wire transfer, I have a clear Missouri title in my name that will be given once the complete payment has cleared.
