1946 Ford Rat Rod Additional Info:
Body is a 1946 Ford with a grill from an old Dodge
Engine is a 350 Chevy small block. Transmission is a turbo 350.Frame is from a Toyota.
It runs good and drives pretty good. Power brakes with disk brakes up front. No power steering, but it isn't hard at all to turn while moving.
The headlights, cab lights, tail lights all work. It does not have turn signals. The gauges do not all work. I know the tachometer, oil pressure, and voltmeterall work. I don't think the other gauges are hooked up.
Both doors have glass, and windows roll up and down. The passenger side window is cracked adding to the rat rod look.
YouTube video of it running and driving: https://youtu.be/IRTyhCYhNQo
Airbag suspension front and rear. Manual controls are made from paint guns and located on the dash. Air tank sits in between the seats.
Logging truck theme with the shifter being an ax handle and the rear bumper being an old log. Wild Turkey Logging door logos are hand painted on.
It is driveable as is, but it does have a few things it could use to be better. It has a new Edelbrock 1406 carburetor and runs good with it, but it was just put on out of the box with zero adjustments made and could probably be dialed in more. It also has a transmission leak. I haven't looked much into it, but it appears it might be coming from the pan gasket. I have a new gasket to go with it. I haven’t had time to replace it. The alternator is new, but has an intermittent noise. The last couple of times it has run, it hasn't made a noise.
Located in Loganville, GA. Clean Tennesseetitle. It is titled as a 1946 Ford. Not titled in GA because they will not issue titles to cars before 1964.
