For sale is our 1969 Ford F350 Ramp Truck car hauler. This is being sold in as is condition with all of the parts we have for the truck included. This was likely used as a Funny car hauler in the early 1970's. The odometer read 76k miles when we got it and the only miles put on it was driving it from Torrance to Rosamond when we moved in 1996. The truck is at our shop property at the gate of Willow Springs Raceway, you can see it there. Whatever parts we have for the truck including the saddle gas tanks and the parts to convert it to front disc brake go with the truck.
The truck body and the ramp truck body are in excellent condition, the truck was freshly painted in 1995 before truck was driven from Torrance to Rosamond in the winter of 1996. The truck has not been run since. The automatic transmission was rebuilt also before it was driven to Rosamond. Please see the attached pictures, we will be glad to answer any questions you may have. The ramp bed was built in southern CA by one of the premier builders of the day and was the Cadillac of car haulers in 1970. The history of the truck is unknown but these kind of ramp trucks were used to haul Funny Cars and Gasser drag racing cars of that era. If you look up drag racing cars hauler of that era on the internet other truck with the same distinctive bed design can be seen. As can be seen in the pictures there is a much storage space on both sides and in the middle of the ramp bed. There is also a fuel tank in the ramp bed.
