You are viewing for sale a fantastic and rare Ford Mustang find at a reasonable price. This is a numbers matching 1968 Mustang hardtop coupe with the optional “Sprint Package B”, was one of only 2 built using the paint and option combination offered by Ford in that year. The Marti report (see photo) reveals how rare this V-8 Mustang is.

According to the dealer invoice (see photo) this car originated in Ohio. A complete restoration was performed approximately 17 years and 25,000 miles ago which included the rebuild of the numbers matching 289 c.i. / 195 h.p. Ford V-8, the C-4 transmission, and open 8” differential. Paint, body work, and interior were also addressed at that time and are in great condition.

When the current owner purchased the car a year ago with the Mustang’s exterior and interior looking great little did, he know much of the suspension and A/C system needed to be rebuilt or replaced. The car is now a pleasure to drive and draws attention at every cruise.

New items included: Power disc brake system with new discs up front and drums out back; Complete tune up including an MSD coil; new speedo cable, new water pump, thermostat and hoses; new ball joints and bushings in the front end; new springs front and rear; new A/C condenser (blows cold air); a Vintage radio which uses Bluetooth, new dash speaker and kick panel speakers; (4) new 1968-69 Mustang 15” chrome wheels (7” front & 8” back) and B.F. Goodrich radials (225 x 60R x 15 front & 245 x 60R x 15 back).
