1971 Ford F-250 Camper Special Additional Info:
I'm selling my beautiful Sea-Foam Green 1971 F250 Sport Custom Camper Special. I've owned this pickup for about a year as my daily driver, and I've done a lot of work to it. The rebuilt 390 with an Edelbrock carburetor has about 25,000 miles on it. The automatic transmission shifts perfectly. The previous owner also installed a heavy-duty rear bumper and additional leaf-springs which makes this pickup a 1-ton!
The good:
Pre-smog!!!Clean title in-hand, current registration
New rubber door-seals, both doors
New hood hinge-springs
New plugs and wires
New power-steering pump, steering-gear, and hoses
New headlight switches, high-watt headlights and headlight wiring harness
New starter and alternator
New brake-booster and master-cylinder
New front brake calipers, pads, and lines
New Edelbrock intake manifold
New Edelbrock intake filter
New gaskets -- intake manifold, valve-covers, engine oil pan
New fuel pump
New transmission filter, pan gasket, and transmission fluid
DUI distributor (HEI-style)
New thermostat and coolant
New wheels and tires
New shocks
Included but not installed:
New parking-brake cable
New Dennis Carpenter steering-wheel and horn-pad
The bad:
AC was long ago disconnected
Due for an alignment. Steering wheel pulls to one side.
Rust hole in the bed floor behind the driver's side rear tire.
Rear fuel tank is locked and has been unused for years.
It has a seat-cover due to cracking vinyl seat.
Rear sliding-window leaks a little bit.
Passenger window crank-handle is missing.
