1970 Ford Torino Coupe Additional Info:
Back on the market due to buyer unable to secure financing. I have a 1970 Torino 2 door coupe for sale. It is NOT a GT but does have GTemblems and the Lazer stripe down the side. It is a formal roof car and I haveobtained the Marti Reportforserious buyers to view. This Torino has been really well cared for over the years. The car has 77+/- k original miles on it and it shows!! However there has been some performance upgrades and a repaint at one point. I will list everything that has been done to the car!! The car was originally built in the San Jose plant inCalifornia and I even have original paper work from the dealer!
Engine: 351 Cleveland with a complete rebuild (less than 1200 miles on rebuild). The motor was bored .020 over and everything was upgraded. The block was decked and blueprinted and all of the internal parts were balanced. New pistons and rings with factory rods. The factory 2V heads were port matched and polished, 3 angle valve job with all new valves, roller rocker arms and push rods. The camshaft is a Crane Cam with .524int/.519exh.The intake is an Edelbrock performer LB351- 2V. The carburetor is a Quick Fuel Q-750 4 barrel with electric choke. It has an MSD billet distributor, MSD coil supplied by a Street Fire ignition box built by MSD. It also includes factory air-conditioning which is been completely rebuilt and works. The engine was topped off by Ford performance 351 Cleveland valve covers and a cobra Mustang style of air cleaner. All of this is backed by a C4 automatic transmission.
Suspension: The suspension in the front has been completely rebuilt (less than 100 miles on it) with new upper and lower control arms, ball joints, tie rod ends, shocks and alignment. The car wasupgraded to power disc brakes with slotted rotors. Additionally the front end was lowered about 1.5 inches. The rear suspension sports a Ford 9 inch with 370 gears, Detroit locker, and drum brakes. The wheels are 15 x 8 and are a 500 magnum style of wheel with brand new Cooper Cobra Radial GT tires 235/60/15.
Exhaust: The car has Hedman headers with Flowmaster exhaust which dumps out behind the rear wheels
Paint: The car was painted about seven years ago and is PPG single stage paint. However the hood has been clear coated over the black stripe. The paint is in great condition with only a few flaws. The lazer decal along with GT emblems have been put on the car to upgrade the look. All of the body panels appear to be original and I havetons ofpictures of the car.
Interior: The interior is pretty much 100% original and is in amazing condition. Only a few aftermarket gauges have been added since the rebuild of the motor for better accuracy.

This Torino is awesome car to own and drive. It gets a lot of attention everywhere I go and has won quite a few awards at local car shows. I would not hesitate to take this car anywhere. It drives extremely well and puts you back in your seat!!! This car will not disappoint. I have a ton of photos and videos if you would like to see more!
