1987 Ford Mustang Additional Info:
First a couple of things on the title. There are 2 issues both easily explained. The branding of the title was because it was a fleet car being a police car. The next issue is that an idiot entered the mileage when inspecting it and he put in 196,*** miles which shows a problem but you can look at the title check on this listing and shows this all is what happened. No wreck or salvage or anything like that.
Here is a decent Texas ex-SSP car. I have updated a few things but I was doing an appearance updating. I put new headlights in. I took a picture of what the old ones looked like when changing them. I also put in new tail light lenses. It has new LED license plate lights. I put in a new rear view mirror, I kept the old mirror too. I have new outside door latches with rivets for the out side. Both sides need it. The passenger door needs it more than the drivers door does but both need it. It also comes with the spot light not installed and the kit to install it. The Unity kit is new never used and the spotlight is a S-6. The motor was rebuilt about 5,000 miles ago. I have some of the parts paperwork. It was rebuilt by the previous owners dad who is now passed but he was a retired mechanic and did a great job. The car is what it is and drives like a 5.0 mustang. It will come with the rotary dial rims. The 5 stars are not included in this auction. The title is free and clear. This car can drive home but has not been ran on the street in 2 years so needs some shoring up. Nothing serious but I am pretty particular before I put my cars on the road. This needs some restoration but a great start and you work as you drive. The body never had a bunch of holes from equipment like others I have had. It does have the spotlight hole but that was needed. No roof or trunk holes. No rust out or underneath damage. I had originally decided to keep the paint for the weathered look and just put a clear over it. I like the black and white barely coming through. Not in to the patina look but this one I liked the look.
What you see is what it comes with. Any questions please email. I set the reserve at $4,500 which I feel is fair for this car.
