1948 ford F3 Rat Rod custom
This is a hot/rat rod build from the 1980’s that started with a 1948 Ford F3 ¾ ton farm work truck. It has the original 1948 226 ci flathead six engine and a 4-speed manual transmission.
The top and door windows have been chopped 6 inches. The front and rear axles are 8 lugs. There is a plexiglass windshield and no side or rear glass.
The bed was shortened (old bucket T style) and there are rear air bags.
The truck runs, drives and stops around town but would need some modifications before it could be called freeway worthy or a daily driver.
This is a great start to a very cool hot rod build. The work on the top chop and doors is worth the asking price alone.
The truck has a clean and current California title and is registered as a 1948 Ford pick-up truck.
