1961 Ford F-100 Additional Info:
1961 F100 with a 352 FE and three speed top loader trans with column shifter. Had the truck since 2010 and have done a full frame off restoration.
No rust on the truck and all the rust was cut out and replaced with custom patch panels with thickgaugesteel. The cab mounts were all re-enforced or remade. Alot of original 1961 metal. I put differentdoors, rear fenders, hood and wood in the bed. But that all was from a 61 donor truck.
The motor was out of a 1965 f100 and the 3 speed was original to the truck. I did a top end rebuild. And had the heads machined and magnafluxed. the valves replaced and hardened seals put in. Also new valve springs. And pushrods. the 2 barrel Carb was rebuilt with new float and injectors.Original lifters, cam, intake and lower end (crank, rods, pistons).
New zinc plated oil pan
New front windshield
Auto meter brand gauges (fuel, oil, water, volts)
New 20 gallon fuel cell with an8 line to a new mechanical fuel pump.
Hedman long tube headers
Custom true dual 3 inch exhaust with dual glass packs
Dual electric radiator fans on a switch
Steering column rebuilt
Transmission checked and new top seal. Never taken apart.
New bushing in all leafs
New coil over rear shocks
New brake cylinders
New brake booster
New brake lines
New carpet
New anti rattle and new window seals for front, rear and side windows
New weather stripping
Anti rattle and sound reducing spray, sticky mats and blanket.
All lights work, has high and low beams, dims, new truck style led brake light strips, bed wood sealed with marine wood seal. Heat works, wipers work. Fuel tank removed from behind seat and put under bed.
Needs tires and king pins. And a new gear for the speedometer. The paint is flat black just to get the metal covered. So it's not perfect. Little to no filler.
The bed, frame, suspension, cab, doors, dash and bumpers were sandblasted and the frame and suspension coated in por15 and high strength frame paint, everything else was heavy primered to ensure the rust doesn't come back. Primered inside doors. And inside cab corners. Solid bed Steps and Solid cab steps
Tons of extra parts such as the chrome front window trim, old doors, c6 Transmission, miscellaneous interior parts, have 427 parts too (thought about making it a 427), another steering column, 2 sets of OEM FoMoCo fuel gauge and valve covers, oil pans. Original exhaust manifolds,
I'm sure I'm forgetting something. Maybe only a couple hundred miles on the restoration. So if you have questions or need more pictures email me at mlask13@yahoo.com and I will answer any questions. It is also for sale locally.
