1932 Ford Tudor Sedan Additional Info:
1932 FORD
There are many aspects of this Ford that shows it's a interesting survivor. This is a very solid steelcar. It is believed to be 32,000 miles. After 84 years there is no way to know for certain.
The paint is older lacquer paint in very good condition. It is a dark blue body with black fenders. The body is laser straight with nice body lines. The doors shut beautifully. The glass is excellent. The chrome is done to a high standard.
The interior appears to be mostly original. The rear seat, rear door panels, rear window shade and passenger front seat are probably original to the car. The drivers seat, front door panels and carpet were replaced a few decades ago. The dash seems to have the original faux wood factory paint. There is a decal that appears to be from the selling dealer in the center above the oval instruments. It has the factory sun visors. It has a clock in the rear view mirror. The heater may be period correct and it works. Gauges, horn and lights work properly. The canvas top insert is original.
The motor runs like a watch. The push button starter was removed from its original position on the floor, it is now a pull switch next to the key. The mechanical brakes work like when it was new, which isn't what they are today.
Transmission and rear end function well. After putting the car away, we found it has an oil leak. Not serious, but will find the source. It drives well with surprising power considering its a 4 cyl.
The underside of this is exceptional. This car was sold new in Canada. The tires are at least 40 years old and still work fine. Included is a complete period correct extra unused mohair interior that was probably bought decades ago and in good condition. Overall a really nice, mostly original, 84 year old 1932 Ford.
