The car is properly titled as a 2013 Assembled Vehicle. It says 1923 in description only based on looks, it has NO 1923 parts on it. It has been inspected by the Ohio State Highway Patrol as required and titled through the Ohio DMV. All taxes were paid at that time. This is a very valuable feature!! Beware of the many cars that are titled as a 1923 Model T...those can become serious trouble in many states (Ohio for one). People just buy an old junkyard title and stamp the number on the car and claim that it is that car. Many states have really started cracking down on this. This is fraud and can land you in some pretty serious trouble and can leave your car in "legal limbo" while you try to get receipts and documentation for all of the parts on the car.
Most of the components came from Speedway Motors and Summit Racing Equipment. The body is a fiberglass Speedway body (non-opening doors). It is powered by a 1972 Ford 302 bored .030 over with flat top pistons and a mild Crane Energizer Cam. Tranny is a 1972 Ford C-4. Rearend is a new Ford 9 inch with posi 3.70 gears.
The following is a list of some of the key components of the car: Wilwood front disc brakes, Lokar cables, AutoMeter gauges, B&M Unimatic shifter, Cragar SS rims (they have some very minor pitting as they were used on another car before this one), BF Goodrich P195/65R-15 TAs on the front and Mickey Thompson L60-15 Sportsmans on the rear, Mallory Unilite distributor, Edelbrock 4 bl carb., Summit high volume electric cooling fan, 8gal. fuel cell, chrome tilt wheel, glass pack mufflers in header extensions, approved safety glass windshield, Summit electric fuel pump, manual choke, Lokar emergency brake, GM rear disc brakes. Please ask about any other parts that you have a question about.
In some pictures the car has a front bumper, windshield wiper and side mirror. These items are included in the sale but I have them off of the car now as I didn't like the look of them but needed them on at time of inspection. You can put them back on if you like them or if your state requires them.
This is a nice car but it is not a Chip Foose Custom. It is not a show car and is priced accordingly. It has been driven some (less than 200 miles) and has a few minor blemishes. Overall it is a good looking, clean car and gets many looks and compliments. It runs great and has a nice sound. One thing that it could use is a professional alignment. It drives OK but does dart a little. I just set toe with a tape measure after getting it on the road so it can be improved. I am selling this car as I recently had to have back surgery and getting in and out of it is difficult so I thought somebody else should enjoy it. If you add up all of the parts in this car you would be thousands of $$$ above the reserve price but I just want to move on since I can't use it any longer. Thanks for looking and bidding! Good luck.
