1986 Ford Mustang svo Additional Info:
1986 SVO Mustang 45k mile southern rust free survivor car. I purchased the car last year for an Ecoboost conversion but things change. Mostly that I don't have the money or time to invest in being one of the first. That being said, this is a really nice, not perfect (except the interior) survivor. I was told that I would be the third owner, original owner sold it to a guy in Dallas who gave it to his dad and I bought it from him. Car has very few blemishes on the exterior, a few dings,a little clear pealing on the hatch, Wheels have no curb rash but a little clear discoloration on a couple, one of the fog lights is missing a cover and bumper has a little white paint on the corner. Have only hand waxed it twice and never washed the motor. Interior is near perfect. Leather steering wheel and shift knob in great condition.Cloth seats and carpet have not been touched by me. Dash is a little faded one speaker doesn't work. Things I have done, K&n air filter, new tires BFG GForce Sport, new headliner, and converted the a/c. (but right after a/c change the heater core decided to leak and I have not fixed that yet (have it bypassed). East Texas didn't need heaters this year.) My son is in from the Navy and is driving the car this week so mileage is going up. 20.7 mpg so far the last week. Car had a slight stumble at high rpm and high boost runs, it has gotten better with Ethanol free gas but is still there a little. Again I have done nothing to the motor. If you are looking for a good survivor this is it. Have an original 1986 sales brochure to go with it. This will be a no Reserve auction I will start the bidding at what I have in the car. Hope to make something but if not so be it. As you can see in the last picture I have my 87 Ttype that I am going to put the money in. Thanks for looking Ok My son just got back from a 161 mile road trip and he says he got 25.26 mpg so now it has a little over 46k miles on it And forgot, I put a new windshield on it.
