1967 Ford Mustang Additional Info:
This car was purchased at Barrett Jackson by the current owner. If anyone is familiar with thereality of a monster build. You know that they tend to need extensive amount of work to be solid dependable cars. This one was no exception. Purchased looking much the same as it does now this Fastback was then subject to a through paint removal, and top end motor rebuild. Both of which I will detail below. The total amount for all of the "resto" work was over $40,000. The resulting car is drivable, fast, and dependable. The current owner had a dream of competing in the Goodguys Nationals This car was awarded a finalist for 2018. Muscle Machine of the Year Finalist to be more specific. A prestigiouscompetitionfeaturingthe best of the best in the US.
Body & Paint: What started out as a S code (390) big block Fastback is now an Eleanor recreation look with the added benefit of flush mount glass. The flush mount glass was part of the redo done by the current owner. This also included a complete repaint in the same paint scheme as it had when purchased at auction. The work was completed by Tony at American Legends in Phoenix, Arizona. With very minor imperfections consistent with use. The paint and body work show excellent. The under hood fairing around the motor has minor rub marks The exterior has a few very small chips. I do not see any cracking in the fiber glass that these kits are known for. This one is smooth, and the gaps are very good.
Chassis: Schwartzfull chassissystemwith 4 wheel disk brakes. This particular Chasis was optioned with large Wilwood brakes, RideTec suspension, and Heidts independentrear end with inboard disks. This systemcomes with the additional frame bracing. The suspension is completely adjustable. The wheels are Billet Specialties with BFG G Force tires.
Motor: An All Aluminum Keith Craft 427 Fe block with Edelbrock Aluminum heads featuring a full roller top end. Induction is completed by a Borla 8 stack with Fast XFI. Motor runs strong, starts right up, and idles perfectly. There is a video of the motor running in the Google album. If you message me your email I can send you an invite.
Transmission: Tremac T56 with Mcleod Scatter shield, Mcleod RST twin disc clutch. The clutch is very stiff.
Interior: Full custom integrationof a 2009 Mustang dash, door panels, and console. The leather ultra soft.
This is obviouslya specialcar that meritsan inspection. I do have an extensive Google Album that I can send you an invite to see. Please messageme or text me your email address. There are pictures of the car in detail as well as videos of the car running.
