1984 Ford Bronco II Additional Info:
This is a Ford Bronco II, 4WD, V6 engine, manual transmission, 4 speed overdrive, manual locking hubs. The car had been in good operational condition with an orange with white striped exterior and orange striped upholstery. It had its original motor and the odometer had not yet flipped into 100,000.The body had no rust that we could see, but there is some rust underneath and in the wheels. In its lifetime, it sat outside most of the time in an arid environment, and was kept up really well. Ask for more photos. It was operational until it was recently stolen. The thief spray-painted black, removed and replaced some parts. Some parts are missing but I don't know which or how many. I know the transmission is missing (it is inside the cab of the car). If you send me a message, I can send you a link to a photo album with pictures of the car's current condition. It's a fixer-upper, but it has a lot of great potential. The car was missing for two weeks in all. We received a tip via NextDoor after a week of it being missing, but were unable to check it out until the second week. It was sitting on the street 1.5 miles from our house, in the process of being fixed up. It was not in drivable condition when we found it. The transmission is on the front passenger seat. We do not know exactly what might be missing, but most of it appears to be under the hood. To note, the thief had stopped by our house prior to stealing it, and mentioned his brother needed a Bronco II starter for HIS Bronco II. So there's a possibility that this part is missing.
We had really wanted to repair the car ourselves and keep it, because we really love it, but we just don't have the means right now. The two previous owners considered taking it back to fix it too, but we're all in the same boat: it isn't child-seat friendly, we have to say goodbye. We are hoping to find someone who will treat it well.
I have more photos. Please ask anything and I'll do my best to answer. If you live in the area or know someone here, we're happy to show it.
