1955 Ford Customline Additional Info:
You are bidding on a very well kept 1955 Ford CUSTOMLINE. this is a 4 door with the straight 6 cylinder and manual transmission on the column. I purchased this this time capsule from my neighbor who's family has owned it for over 60 plus years. He was in the process of slowly restoring it. It has a new front windshield and rubber, new tires including the spare, new battery, new headliner, new carpet, andnew seat upholstery front and rear. The entire trunk is full of lots of new and usedOEM parts to finish up the restoration. There are two extra transmissions, extra gauges, speedometer, original radio replacement and lots more.... The car had sat for about two years since it was last driven. When I purchased it I drained the gas tank and put new premium gas in it and a new battery. After a little effort it started right up. I drove it home and found the engine and transmission to be in good running order. The brakes also seemed to be functioning properly as well. The carburetor needs to be rebuilt as it has some old tarnished gas in it causing some problems with gas flow. The car appears to be rust free and is an excellent candidate to finish up the restoration and enjoy it as a daily driver or to take to shows. I took pictures of the parts that are included in the trunk with the sale of this vehicle. There are a lot of new parts to finish up the restoration and maybe some extras (see pictures). I am not sure what the actual mileage is as it has been turned over. It has a clear title from Oregon. If you have been looking to own one of these classic cruisers than look no further as it would be a great car to finish up. With some new paint and a bit of chrome work it would look amazing! Please feel free to contact me if you have additional questions, would like more detailed pictures, or want to schedule an inspection and test drive. Good luck bidding!
