The creativity in the world of custom cars is amazing. Here is another fine example, and yet another unique take, on a vehicle that has been a popular choice for many other projects. First class body work and paint are backed up by solid mechanical upgrades, but oh my my, the interior in this truck steals the show. Check it out. As you approach this truck from any angle, you can't miss the fact that it sits... very low indeed. From the side you will see that it has a nice bit of chassis rake dialed into it too enhancing the effect even further. The Matte Black paint looks awesome. You can tell someone spent plenty of time getting the body panels straight and true as well as lined up properly with each other before spraying a single drop of that paint. Then either the discreet flourishes of chrome, or the Pistachio Green wheels, or both, will grab your attention. Up front, the chrome grill is a bold but simple double bar affair with a V8 emblem in the center that blends into and around the headlights on each side. The hood is customized with eight rows of louvers split by a ridge down the center. The bed is finished out in beautiful wood with chrome strips and a simple chrome rear bumper underlines the tailgate. Open the door and get ready for a Pistachio Green interior that is crafted in the finest leather with a creativity and attention to detail that is proven by the matching purse created for those special nights out. The top of the door is painted which carries over smoothly onto the dash when the door is closed. The door panel itself has a gentle arc of chrome dividing it with a pattern resembling a gentle wave worked into the lower section, and in another nice touch, they both carry smoothly through onto the kick panel. That pattern is also nicely echoed on the back of the bench seat as well as the headliner. The two-spoke steering wheel is also green with thin chrome bands and is mounted on a tilt column with the shifter for the automatic transmission along with the cruise control. White faced gauges by Faria trimmed in chrome look fantastic set in the instrument cowl while the Vintage Air ventilation controls and Alpine stereo are mounted in the center. Pop the hood open and tucked down in the neat and clean engine bay is a healthy 350 cubic inch motor that is a combination of the simplicity of the body treatment with the color of the interior and wheels. An oval air filter is finned and trimmed in black and green with the top edges of the ribs polished nicely. That treatment is copied pretty dramatically on the valve covers, and the rest of the engine block as well as the Edelbrock intake just under the Rochester Quadra-jet carburetor, are dressed out in green. Stock exhaust manifolds flow back through dual mufflers to chrome tips and a chrome alternator adds an extra splash of flash to the engine bay. Power flows back through a 3-speed automatic transmission and power front disc brakes provide good stopping power. Those color matched steel wheels with polished outer rims and center caps mount 245/40ZR20s in the front and 255/45ZR20s in the back. Creative, different, and beautiful with an interior that steals the show from all that other amazing work. Come on down and check this truck out.
