Hello to all eBayers!I have been with eBay for several years and I want to keep my reputation here 100% positive. I am a private collector, who has endless passion for classic cars and trucks. 90% of the vehicles have been rented out to movies commercials or high-class parties. Right now, I'm liquidating my collection since I'm selling my warehouse. Are you an old vehicles connoisseur looking for classic/vintage vehicles without having to pay luxury prices? You are in the... right place! I know that magic feeling when the right quality meets the right price, so I sell my vehicles worldwide at the most reasonable prices. I bought this vehicle with the intention of bringing it to California to add to my collection. This 1928 FORD MODEL A is located in a Copart facility in 1475 BLUFF CITY BLVD, ELGIN, IL 60120. I tried to sell it on Copart, but this vehicle is a classic, clean title vehicle. You can buy this vehicle on Ebay or through Copart by becoming a member. This vehicle has a clear Illinois Title. If you need to get a CA title for this vehicle, I can help you with that for an additional fee.1928 FORD MODEL A COUPEThe Ford Model A (also colloquially called the A-Model Ford or the A, and A-bone among rodders and customizers), was the second huge success for the Ford Motor Company, after its predecessor, the Model T. First produced on October 20, 1927, but not sold until December 2, it replaced the venerable Model T, which had been produced for 18 years. This new Model A (a previous model had used the name in 1903-04) was designated a 1928 model and was available in four standard colors.Mechanical1928 Ford Model A Coupe. According to the best information previous owner had, this car was last registered in 2009 for road use, and since then was stored in a dry storage. To get the car running carburetor had to be disassembled and cleaned, points filed, oil and coolant changed, and the leaking water pump was replaced by a new unit from Snyder's Antique Auto Parts. The gas tank was empty and appeared to be relatively free of corrosion, 7 gallons of fresh gas was added and the car started right up, does not make any odd noises from the transmission or engine, does not smoke and ran OK for the several miles. The brakes felt good, and the car has good power going through the gears, but the idle is a bit rough, might need new sparkplugs nothing big. The horn as well as the windshield wiper, and the lights operate intermittently, these systems could use some TLC. Aftermarket turn signals have also been installed. Note that an optional exhaust manifold heater is also included with the sale, but has not been installed. The interior vent has been installed and is ready to accept the heater installation. Tires have good tread and have no visible age cracks, or none that are apparent. Ready for shows or just drive and have fun. Exterior This car has always been garaged kept, and there is no rust/corrosion anywhere. The paint looks great as well as the top. All body panels are nice and straight. The rumble seat is in great shape.InteriorThe interior looks great. No tears on the seat. Door panels and headliner are nice and clean. Floors are solid. Overall very neat interior.
