1976 Ford F-250 Additional Info:
1976 Ford F-250 High Boy. This is a true High Boy with the factory 3" lift. My son restored this truck two years ago and is getting married and going to college. Just over 52,000 on the odometer but not sure how many miles are truly on the truck. We hate to see it just sit here and want to sell it to someone who will really appreciate it and wants to continue working on it.
Here are the good things: Ford 390 V8 Engine, top end of the engine was recently rebuilt and resealed before we got it, no leaks, 35" wheels with a fair amount of tread left, Four Wheel Drive works and engages, Magnaflow Exhaust system (sounds amazing), airbags on the rear suspension. Truck bed was taken off for painting as well as the doors etc... This was not a complete restoration but he did a great job.
Bad things: remember this is a 42 year old truck so it is going to have its little quirks. We just had the master brake cylinder replaced. The one that was on it was too small. The brakes work a ton better but they aren't perfect. It pulls to the right a bit and we can't figure out why. The alignment is fine and the tires aren't wearing funny. We have had a fair amount of suspension and front end work done on it. The spray in bed liner is flaking in a couple spots (easy fix just needs to be cleaned and touched up), Interior has new upholstery on the seat and new carpet kit. We have the headliner but haven't installed it. The steering wheel is brand new and the dash and gauges are original. The speedometer and odometer are not working. All other gauges are working fine. It has a gas tank behind the bench seat and has the ability to add a second tank under the bed. We left the hole for the gas cap/tank. We have some random parts as well as the left over paint from painting the truck. When the truck was flexed my son opened the door and caught it on the front fender so that will need to be touched up if you want it perfect. Serious buyers only and no low-ball offers. I have looked online and this truck is easily worth $16,000-$21,000. I am in no rush to sell it so if we don't get enough out of it we will just keep it. Call me with any questions if you are interested.
