1962 FORD GALAXIE 500 CONVERTIBLE

This Galaxie has the look and stance that everyone wants. I have owned and driven it for three years and would not hesitate to drive this car across country.

During the time I've owned it some of the things I have replaced are: water pump, voltage regulator, generator, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, front wheel bearings & seals, new Street Demon 4 barrel carburetor, seat belts, idler arm, power steering hydraulic cylinder, leaf springs, leaf spring bushings and a new exhaust system.

The rear leaf springs are new custom made lowered springs so the car has a very nice ride and does not bottom out like cars with spring blocks.The transmission was rebuilt in August 2018 by a highly rated local transmission shop that is very well versed in vintage transmissions.

The interior is original so it has a couple of places where the stitching is coming loose. The carpet was replaced by the previous owner. I've replaced the interior chrome window cranks and door handles. The convertible top is in excellent shape and the power top works perfectly.

The original owners manual is included and has the original owners name and when she took delivery of the car in September of 1961. The original wheel skirts are in the trunk and come with the car too.

This Galaxie rides and drives amazing. It looks awesomeeven with the top up and it turns heads everywhere you'll take it! I am only selling it because we are moving across country and can not take it with us. I have a clean clear title in my name. This is not a perfect Galaxie but it shows very well and has some minor imperfections. Like any used vehicle I would recommend viewing it in person.
