1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Restomod Additional Info:
If you are a Pony car enthusiast looking for a killer ride, come on down and check this car out. With a complete rotisserie restoration from the ground up, it's as clean as it gets. The car has a great stance, and it sounds awesome! It is a sleek, mean, muscle machine just looking to put a grin on its next owners face. This car presents a super clean look in Red and Black. The only badge on the car is a Pony galloping across a red, white and blue badge on the grill. The lines are kept simple and clean with black horizontals for the grill, which also incorporates the headlights, outlined with simple chrome trim and underlined by a pencil thin chrome bumper. The hood is blacked out with the center accent line leading into the hood scoop. From the side, the light dances off the upper creases of the front fenders, then follows the curves of the bulging rear fenders, meeting up with the fastback line of the roof and turning up with the lip of the integrated rear spoiler. Nice. The view from the back of the car (the one quite a few people may be seeing) is bold with the center panel surrounding those iconic triple taillights blacked out. It is framed by the red body work of the spoiler and wide rear fenders and underlined by another simple chrome bumper. Open the door and you will find that the black and red theme is tastefully continued on the interior. The door panel has a red insert surrounded by black with a slash of chrome across the bottom. The high back bucket seats are comfortable with pleated and perforated seating surfaces and a splash of red just under the headrest. A three spoke, deep dish wooden steering wheel has a Mustang horn button in the center and sits in front of a fresh dash with any of the chrome trim blacked out. There is a Kenwood FM/CD player for your listening pleasure and a black shift ball for the 5-speed Tremec manual transmission rises from the center console. Red vinyl floormats protect the black carpeting in the front, and the back seats are also nicely trimmed out, so anybody who wants to join you on cruise night can be comfortable too. As a Restomod, there have been numerous upgrades to the engine and drivetrain of this car. Under the hood you will find a built 351 Windsor nestled down in an engine bay that is polished up and detailed out as nicely as the outside of the car. Underneath the air cleaner is a Holley 750 double pumper carb feeding the engine through an Edelbrock Performer intake and aluminum valve covers embossed with Ford Racing that look great. Long tube headers wind their way out the bottom to a stainless exhaust system and give this car an awesome throaty growl. 4-wheel disc brakes assure that you can haul this beast back down from speed, and power steering as well as a suspension system that has all new springs, shocks, bushings, ball joints and tie rods make the car a dream to drive. The rubber meets the road through 295/35ZR18s in the rear and 245/40ZR18s in the front mounted on Boss Motorsports wheels. Whether you would like to keep it polished up and show it off, or release the beast on the street. Or both. You should come down and check this car out. You might end up becoming its next owner who just can't stop grinning.
