1951 Ford Other Pickups Additional Info:

hello..here is my 1951 ford f-1 gasser pickup, it was built well with reliability and performance in mind. you can comfortably cruise this rod down the highway around 70mph and tracks straight as an arrow. i used all period correct vintage hotrod parts in this build..no exspence spared. the description of this vehicle is long so bare with me, but it explains why this isn't some thrown together junk truck your concidering buying. i included many photos that is part of its description as well...HERE IT GOES ( started out with all brand new custom made motor and trans mounts that were positioned perfectly and both bolted and welded in, installed afresh .030 over bored1965 corvette 327 chevy motor with double hump heads and a pete jackson 'noisey gear drive and 480lift erson cam and lifters with melling high volume oil pump. the induction is a very rare offenhauser 360 dual port street tunnel ram running a brand new pair of small 450cfm matching holley carbuerators. for looks and reliabilityi dropped in a points style gm distributor with a super stock coil and 8mm wires..i do have a nice dual point accel unit that goes with the truck for more fire power. it has hooker super comp fenderwell headers that can be uncapped if wanted, but i drive it and being a cop magnet i installed vintage nos round thrush mufflers for the street. you can idle it all day long in 90 degree heat with no issues with its new aluminum 4-core desert cooler radiator...painted black to not draw attention. the transmission is a pro built muncie m-21 4-speed with new zoom clutch and pressure plate. all linkage is mechanical and custom made. i didn't want no slave cylinder crap.trans is shifted through a hurst competition plus to fit well with the bench seat. brand new custom built driveshaft with new heavy duty spicer u-joints. the rearend housingis an early 1968 ford 9" with a brand new 4.11 positraction center section holding a pair of custom built 4foot"crutches" aka ladder bars. all new monroe shocks all around and new brakes and master cylinder. i kept the drum brakes for nostalgia reasons..you may upgrade to disc for more stopping power if your gonna race it. fuel delievery is a brand new oem style gas tank and a chrome fram hp-1 filter and holley red pump. i kept the stock dash gauges for looks, they light up but not functional. i kept it simple by installing a chrome set of new old stock stewart warner2- 5/8 oil pressure and water temp gauges..gas gauge as well. also vintage style chrome tach mounted on top the dash. i installed a brand new 12volt 2speed wiper system for them unexspected rain showers. vintage superior500 steering wheel and a 3-point customfabricated roll bar. the wheels are brand new classic cragar s/s all the way around with new hoosier rear slicks and new front bf goodriches. up front is an older 2 gallon moon fuel tank (for looks). mounted on the hood is a vintage harwood hoodscoop that's functional. out back on the tailgate is an old and very rare dragster parachute (for looks). the list goes on and you can see where the bucks were spent in this build. the patina on the paint and body is untouched and real..not faked. i love this look and built this hotrod around the 40 year old paint. you could do the body and paint it, but that's up to you..to me its finished. i have many other parts that are uninstalled such as new glass and rubbersand new window regulators that go with the truck. this vehicle is antique tagged and insured with a clean pa title in my name. its sold as is, meaning thereare no warranties or refunds exspressed or implied."please check with the wife or your mother etc before placing a bid to buy!, so you can verify the funds". truck and title are not released from my property till those funds clear my bank. small paypal deposit is required within 24-48 hours after auction ends, balance due within 5-7 days. if picking up in person cash is best.if you need it shipped that isyour responsibility, i am more than glad to help with your transport company for safe pick up.any questions please ask before bidding or making me an offer..please be realistic about the offer option. thanks for looking, good luck.
