Cruisin Classics would like to offer you a 1971 Ford Maverick. This has had some upgrades under the hood and transmission. The upgrades are what make this car what it is today and it is nothing short of a very fun driver. The Orange exterior looks like a color that was made popular by another company and it will turn heads clear to Mars. Under the hood you will find an era correct 302 cubic inch engine that has a... build date of 1971. (D10E-6015-AA) It runs like a champ and looks great sitting inside the Orange engine compartment. You will like the components added starting with a 4 bbl., Holley Carburetor sitting atop a Dominator Intake (electric choke) and the ignition system is points. Also, you will enjoy the aluminum radiator, chrome dress up kit and a new battery. The transmission was replaced by a Borg-Warner 5-Speed manual (T5). It comes out of a 1984 Mustang with a casting number of 1352-065.The 8.8 rear end is a Posi Trac with 3.42 gears. Stock shocks with sway bars in the front and back make up the undercarriage as well as the NEW dual exhaust system and NEW gas tank. The undercarriage as a whole is in great condition and looks as though it is a much younger vehicle.Inside you will find a couple of high-back bucket seats in superb condition with the general theme colors of black and gray. All of the gauges work and the shifter is on the floor. The carpet, headliner, seats, door panels and overall condition is great. Very comfortable, clean and roomy will cover the Interiors condition. To give the exterior a little contrast, you will find Black and aluminum American Racing (Mustang), 5-spoke wheels matched with Doral tires. The wheels are 17 inch and the tires are 225/45/17. For your convenience the trunk is outfitted with a spare tire and jack.If you have any additional questions, please call one of our friendly sales staff.
