1935 Ford Other Pickups Additional Info:

1935 Ford Pickup, fully restored and completed in early 2014. Total body off restoration. It is mostly original. Engine is a correct 1935 motor with new babbit poured and rebuilt completely. During the rebuild, the block was modified to allow an oil filter to be installed. Also rewired to 12 VDC, replaced generator with an alternator and distributor with an MSD electronic unit - no more points to adjust. The original distributor comes with it and is in good condition. Also added thermostats to the cooling system. Transmission is the standard 3 speed manual unit.
While the Coca Cola emblems are not original, they add to the fun experience of an old classic pickup. The pickup is the favorite wherever it is seen, turns heads everywhere and is fun to drive. Regularly maintained, it now has 4,801 miles on it and the engine et al should be good for at least 50,000 more.
