We sell all cars as-is, which means the buyer isresponsible for any and all repairs, according to the Ohio Buyer’s Guide (includes body, mechanical, frame and interior). We do our best to describe all vehicles as accurately as possible, but keep in mind that opinions may differ and that it’sthe buyer’s responsibility to inspect the car before bidding. We advise all bidders to get a third party to check out the vehicle if they can’t make it out themselves to ensure their complete satisfaction. This must be done before bidding. When you view the pictures of the vehicle, make sure you look at them on a large screen to ensure that you can see all attributes of the car. If the car starts and runs onto the truck, but it does not start at arrival, that is the buyer’s responsibility (cars may be damaged on a long, bouncy trip). Once the car is paid for, all buyers should put insurance on it because they now own the car. We will work with your shipper or you can call Mike, our shipper, for a rate at 970-300-1020. We leave all buyers positive feedback. All sales are final.
Thank you for looking at our 1959 Ford Fairlane 500 Survivor. This is a great find. If you're looking for a weekend cruiser, this one is ready to go. The car starts right up, has dual exhaust with an 8 cylinder engine, and we think it's the correct motor (or possibly the original). It's three on the tree, the clutch is good and it drives well. We had brake work done on it and they stop well. We also had carburetor work done on it. New fuel pump was put in, as well as a new alternator. The underneath of the vehicle is solid and I took pictures to show how solid it really is.
When I purchased the car it was running and I did all the mechanical work to make it right. It has brand new carpeting ready to install inside the car that I purposely did not install so the potential buyers can see how solid the floors are in the car and that they are not being hidden by new carpeting. It also had three cracked roll up windows. My mechanic replaced one and then he said that he's not going to put any more windows in because he's not a window guy, but the two windows that were not installed are in the back seat of the car (picture included). In the trunk, there's a manifold that I left in the car and never used, along with an extra hubcap and handles, two exhaust tips that I did not install along with the new carpeting in the box. It may need a trunk lock but it does close.I took many pictures of the body. It's great for car shows! If you're ready to bid on a reliable driver, this Ford Fairlane could be sitting in your garage in eight days.
