For Sale: 1988 Ford F150 XLT Lariat Short Bed 4 wheel driveHere is an opportunity to buy a truck that is going to appreciate in value over the years to come, this truck is 30 years old this year and this is one of the most solid trucks you will find from that era. Only has 144K miles on the clock and it shows in the overall condition of this truck. Vehicle was bought new by an elderly couple just to tow there camper around and it has been very well maintained. We bought the vehicle and did a minor cosmetic restoration and added the wheels and tires and roll bar with LEDs and did some engine work to bring this classic truck up to par. Exterior/Body: Rust free cab Frame bed recent repaint very presentable few minor flaws in paint you can see in pictures chip on gas door, bed has a few scratches where the bedliner was installed and small bubble over rear wheel well where some moisture got under the paint. Has chrome roll bar with LED lights switch is mounted in dash and will work with key on or off. AVS headlight shades can be removed easily if not legal in your town. Almost all trim/chrome has been redone or replaced. Has new windshield and rear window has been resealed.
Interior: Seats and door panels recently reupholstered with gray tweed and gray vinyl looks exceptional with no tears rips or burns truck has never been smoked in. Headliner and carpet are new. Heater works well and all blendoors open as they should Air Conditioning is not charged unsure of condition as it takes R12 freon to work properly. All components (Condenser, evap, dryer, lines) are on the truck and appear to be in good condition. Radio lights up but does not work it is the original radio to the truck so time probably took its toll on the electronics. Dash does not have any cracks but it does have some discoloration but very presentable. It has a steering wheel cover that is fraying a little so would be good to replace in the future. Drivetrain/Engine: 302 V8 with multiport fuel injection we replaced several sensors to get this engine running back in spec motor has been completely resealed so no oil leaks 5 speed manual transmission shifts well thru all the gears 4 wd engages well thru all speeds. Has manual locking hubs. Truck has power disc brakes and drums in the rear stops as well as any new vehicle. Has a flowmaster muffler installed but is not much louder than stock. Has brand new American Racing bullet hole polished wheels and Mudclaw 31x10.50x15 tires all the way around.
Overall truck is in excellent condition and is ready to go and enjoy or you can add your own touches to it and make it your own.
