1964 Ford Galaxie Additional Info:

This car is an orignal "Z"code survivor, 90/300hp, ench seat, our-speed car with a 350:1 rear. It was purchased new at Strouthers Ford in Marietta Georgia. It came to NJ in 1982 and was stored at that time and never used in NJ until I purchased the car in 2013,(it still had the Georgia plates on at that time)The paint is partly original as far as I can tell, ut it did have some paint work done n 1972 as per the previous owner. I cannot tell what paint is original and what is not. The engine was completely rebuilt to stock specs (70psi oil pressure at idle) the brakes, heel cylinders, aster cylinder, rake hoses, uel tank, uel sender, uel pump, arburetor and fuel lines have been replaced as were the shocks, ater pump, enerator,voltage regulator and tires (235/75R15 on the rear 215/75 R 15 on the front). The body of this car is rot-free and has no patch panels or body filler anywhere. All of the body mounts are solid as is the entire underside of the car. The quarter panels, oors and fenders are straight and rock- solid. There are some small dents in the roof from items being stored there by some idiot in the past, ut they are minimal and barely noticeable . The interior is presentable with the exception of the driver's front, ower panel, hich has just started to crack. The paint still shines, ut has some scratches, mperfections and areas that are worn through. The roof being the worst part. The paint is very presentable for a 50 year-old car, ut the pictures show it to look a bit better than it really is. The front bumper is lightly pitted and the rear bumper is pitted a bit more, ut both are straight and solid . These imperfections do not show so much in the photos.Overall, his car is a very good survivor that is very dependable and can be driven anywhere,anytime as is This car is mechanically sorted out very well and can be, nd maybe should be, eft as is, hich was my original intention, ut it would make a very nice and easy total restoration if so desired.
