1953 Ford F-100 Panel Additional Info:
Thanks for checking out our 1953 Ford F100 panel truck. It belonged to my father-in-law who passed away last year.
It’s powered by a Chevrolet 350 that I’ve been told is from an early 70’s Corvette. The motor is very strong and sounds great. It has a Volarie front clip and drives very well. Disc brakes in front, drums in back.
The stereo has an Alpine head unit, has an amp, and two Kicker subs in addition to the regular speakers. It sounds amazing.
The truck was restored in the late 90’s and overall has held up very well. There is some paint bubbling and cracking on the drivers side rear quarter around the wheel well. (See pictures) there is some bubbling in same area on passenger side but is hardly noticeable and would not photograph.
The doors lock/unlock with a remote that also activates the alarm.
Items that could use attention:
It has vintage air that blew cold last year and most likely needs a recharge.
A Dolphin instrument cluster was installed last year and the sending unit for the fuel gauge needs put in the gas tank.
Feel free to contact me with any questions and I’ll get back to you ASAP.
