1971 Boss 351 Mustang Vin # 1F02R153379 Production 12/70 Current mileage 76943
This is the ultimate day two car; it has been in this configuration since the early 1970,s
Will consider Corvette trades of equal value .... prefer 1963 - 1967 but will consider others.
It is a very nice Boss, fantastic documentation with full owner history. The Boss has had one very nice correct complete repaint in its original color of Wimbledon White. Quarters, Fenders, Doors, Trunk, Hood, etc. are all original to this car with correct stamped part numbers. The Blue interior is original with the exception of the carpet, and all in very good condition. The trunk area is very clean and original with the original inflate a spare, jack and hold down present.

Again the Boss is very well documented, and has been well taken care of. It was with the last owner since 1984. There is documentation of a complete engine rebuild buy a Ford dealership at 58,000 miles (now has 76900 miles). Some of the suspension and steering has been replaced as needed such as Idler arm, upper ball joints, outer tie rod ends, shocks (Air shocks on rear). The bottom of the car was extensively undercoated and appears to be dealer sprayed. I have removed most of the undercoating from the floor pans, torque boxes, frame and fuel tank to reveal original mint metal. Included with the documentation is the original Ford Build Sheet, Deluxe Marti Report, most other original ford pamphlets. There are a couple old quarter mile time slips (from 1990) where the old girl made a couple passes at 13.801 (97.821 mph) and 14.415 (98.559 mph).
Last year the car was brought out of a long period storage (approximately 20 years). So too get her back and ready for the road the following work was done.
BRAKES … Master cylinder rebuilt, Both rear wheel cylinders rebuilt, Front Disc brake calipers rebuilt, all front disc brake hardware replaced, all rear drum brake hardware replaced, front rotors resurfaced, rear drums resurfaced, Front wheel bearings replaced as well as seals, bearing grease packed, all original brake pads and shoes reused, brake system flushed with solvent until clean, dot 5 brake fluid installed and brakes bleed.
ENGINE … Anti-freeze drained and replaced, Thermostat and housing gasket replaced, Spark plugs removed and cylinders pre lubed, new spark gapped and installed, Valve covers removed and valve clearances checked, Distributor removed points cleaned and checked, Oil pump ran and primed and pre oil engine, fresh oil and filter, Carburetor removed totally rebuilt and reinstalled, Fuel pump replaced, Fuel tank drained and flushed, battery replace with proper for year model 24 , replaced starter cable, replaced battery cables, removed starter replaced bendex. Thankfully all of this work was performed by Mr. Bill Collins of Bills Mustang Restoration. Needless to say Bill gave the car exactly what it needed and deserved. Bills thought on the car after being freshened was “Engine performance at wide –open throttle thru all gears is excellent!!
May Consider trade for nice mid year small block corvette convertible, prefer 1967
