1966 Ford Fairlane Additional Info:
Project Fairlane that is being professionally completed. Have too many projects and I don't have the time to put the car back together after bodywork. The car has been blasted down to bare metal getting new full floors, floor supports/rails, both quarter panels, fender skirts and several custom patches. The entire from of the car has the metal work 100% completed and as you can see in the pictures it is prepped and put into epoxy primer. the transmission tunnel has been raised 1" to get a Tremic trans in there. There is minor metal/prep work remaining to be done on the rear section of the care that is not in primer per the pics. The car has rear 4 link coil over suspension in the rear welded to a Ford 8". The doors, truck lid, front fenders and misc panels have been gapped and removed. have a Crites fiberglass hood, 427 scoop that will come with the sale but it has not been bodied yet. They have received reface/blocking and final epoxy prime. these panels are 100% paint ready. The main(topside) shell is in primer but has not been refaced or blocked yet. The buyer will receive the car in rolling form with the stock front suspension assembled enough for transport. I intended for this to be a high end build and no cost was spared to get to this point. I currently have over $17k into this build. I have all the glass crated in foam and plywood box. I have all the trim pieces, interior parts/seats palletized for EZ transport. Have the 289 engine and 3 speed manual trans that came out if you would like them as well and will be included in the final sale. Clear MD title and the car is located in Glen Burnie MD 21226. this is a no reserve auction and I am sure that the car will go for less than I have in it. My loss your gain. No bids will be accepted for 0 feedback bidders so don't even try. If you don't want a project then don't bid. If you don't have the funds readily available then don't bid. For the guys that understand how much it costs to build these cars look at my feedback you will get the car described here. Please let me know if you have any questions and the rotisserie in the pics is not included in this sale just to be clear.
