For sale is a newly restored Pro Touring 1966 mustang. This car has been built from the ground up and has 100 break in miles! This is the ultimate pro touring SEMA quality mustang . Fuel injected Twin Turbo 302 pushing 700hp, TKO 500 5 speed, fully adjustable coilovers, power rack n pinion, wilwood hydraulic throwout bearing, 4 wheel Wilwood disk brakes, shortened currie 9” with 3.50 posi, mini tubs to fit 345s in the back the list goes on. You can drive this car the way you would a new sports car. Very street friendly in the lower rpms but once boost kicks in it turns into an animal. handles great in the canyons, around town, or put it into 5th gear and cruise on the freeway. Over 2 years, extreme amounts of fabrication, time and $125,000 invested!!
Paintand body
$20,000 Show quality “metallic laser red” PPG base clear. Subtle body modifications include flush door handles, shaved drip rails, seamless painted bumpers (no bolts), and trimless window glass. Engine bay and entire underside was lynex’d (truck bed liner) for protection.
interior
Full custom interior from TMI products, pro viper jr. vxr bucket seats with matching rear upholstery (rear seats fabricated to fit with the mini tubs). one piece suede headliner, matching suede/ vinyl door panels, dash pad, and steering wheel. Fabricated transmission tunnel with custom remote shifter, boost gauge plate, and boost timing plate.
engine
Twin turbo roller 302, SVO aluminum heads, serpentine belt system, forged bottom end, full 2.5-3” intercooler piping. Allows the boost to build and makes for smooth linear power. 590 HP to the wheels at 11lbs of boost
Transmission
TKO 500 5 speed, custom remote shifter, Mcleod Hydraulic throwout bearing with fabricated inboard slave cylinder, custom balanced aluminum driveshaft. Excellent clutch pedal feel.
Rear end
Custom shortened length Currie enterprises 9”, 31 spline axles, 3.50 motive gears with detroit locker built to handle over 850hp
Brakes
Large Wilwood 4 piston disk brakes on all 4 corners, wilwood master cylinder with proportioning valve, custom bent nickel copper brake lines. Plenty of stopping power
Suspension
Front Mustang II style independant coilover suspension with custom fabricated boxed lower control arms. Fully adjustable QA1 coilovers with power rack n pinion. Rear (6 leaf) leaf springs with heavy duty fabricated traction bars. Full frame car with frame rails run through the entire unibody, car handles amazing with zero body roll.
Cooling
Custom aluminum radiator with dual Electric fans. Runs cool with the turbos, no overheating issues.
Electrical
All new electrical with upgraded blade type fuse bloc, LED headlights
Fuel
16 gallon fuel cell, Detroit Speed electric fuel pump, custom bent aluminum fuel lines with flared AN fittings
Powder coating
tail light bezel, door sill plates, side mirror, turn signal indicators, grille trim powder coated matte black
Exhaust
Custom fabricated exhaust, x pipe, magnaflow mufflers, wrapped in Titanium header wrap to reduce heat.
