1969 Ford Mustang Additional Info:
Our bright yellow '69 Mustang Boss 302 was restored as a street version of the legendary Trans Am Race cars. The unique 302 engine is equipped with theCross Boss aluminum intake and Autolite inline 4-barrel carburetor, an induction system designed by Ford for Trans Am racing. The canted-valve engine was balanced, blueprinted, and equipped with high compression pistons, custom ground solid-lifter cam, 289 high performance dual-point distributor and Ford Powertrain Applications tubular headers. Our Mustang Boss drivetrain consists of a close-ratio Toploader 4-speed and a 9-inch rear end with 3.91 gears and Traction-Lok differential. The Boss 302's factory suspension was upgraded for improved handling with adjustable shock absorbers, lowered A-arms, larger sway bars, and the battery has been relocated to the trunk for improved weight distribution. Interior is race-car basic, but includes aSun tachometer, Grant steering wheel, Hurst shifter, custom roll cage and competition shoulder harness.Driven only 211 miles since its completion, the Boss 302 has earned a number of accolades, including a MCACN Day 2 award, MCA Red Grille Medallion and MCA Pinnacle Award for Modified. Included with the car is a Deluxe Marti Report and a binder containing build specs and restoration photos.
