1966 Ford Mustang GT Convertible Additional Info:
Beautiful Springtime Yellow Mustang with black power convertible top and black interior. Paint is good except one small area near cowl (see photo). Power top is in excellent condition and goes up/down just fine. Interior is a great driver quality that shows well with no tears or rips. Quality seat belts for four passengers. Dash has no cracks. Radio is AM/FM upgraded with outlet for your smart phone.
Engine is a rebuilt 302 5.0 HO Roller from a 1987 Mustang with a Holley 650 cfm four barrel carburetor and a performance aluminum intake manifold. Aluminum radiator has been added for additional cooling should you chose to add A/C. Transmission is an AOD overdrive transmission. Both engine and trans run exceptionally well. Starts right up and shifts as it should. With this engine and trans combination you have a lot of power and great fuel economy. I just installed a new water pump.
Car was original a six cylinder. All components to convert to a V8 car were change, and either new are excellent parts were used. Style Steel wheels, new radial tires and GT components were added at this time.
All glass and windows are good and work as they should. Rear plastic back window is clear. This convertible is over 50 years old, and does have windows and top that do not seal perfectly. Some adjustments can be made if you chose to do so. I have two sets of keys, and doors can be locked.
At this time interior lights and reverse lights are not working. All other lights and turn signals work as they should.
Car does not have power steering (can be added easily) and some drivers may find it difficult to drive. My wife does drive the car.....when I let her. : )
Please feel free to ask questions. I'm not interested in trades. The truck in back ground is not for sale. I'm in my 70's and get a little grouchy sometime so please be patient with me.I'm a member of the Mustang Club of America.
$500.00 deposit and car will not be released until full payment in seven 7 days. No warranty. I have clear title in hand.
