1989 Ford F-150 XLT Lariat 4X4 Additional Info:
This 1989 Ford F-150 XLT Lariat is a terrific kind of new classic pickup. You still get a fuel-injected V8, a comfortable interior, and plenty of hauling power - just now with more distinction and pay thousands $$$$ than a new 4x4. Bright red, chrome bumpers, bright tailgate, and shiny wheels. This one certainly lives up to the upscale appearance of the XLT Lariat trim package. We won't pretend it's perfect, but if you need a show truck, this one also leaves plenty in the budget for that. And what you really want this one for is that classic square-jaw tough appearance in a package that's still ready to work today. That's why this already comes with a spray-in bedliner, towing mirrors, and full tow hitch. The interior feels quite upscale for a classic pickup. The full red package coordinates with the exterior, and it includes a comfortable cloth bench seat. This not only has good bolstering, but also there's a fold-down center console so you can decide if you want to carry two friends or have a more individual level of comfort. The original factory steering wheel has the buttons for cruise control, and beyond that is a full set of factory gauges, including the handy tach. It has nice features like an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo and provisions for air conditioning. Of course, we know your favorite fresh air comes from opening the vent windows and sliding the rear glass. It's the old-school style breeze we all love on these trucks. Ford's fuel-injected 5.0-liter V8 is a terrific motor. If you're a true driver, there's no better paring than the five-speed manual transmission. There's even a performance air intake and rumbling dual exhaust upgrades to really enjoy the motor to the fullest. Sure, this isn't geared to be a Mustang with a truck bed, but you really do get full control between power driving and overdrive comfort with this full setup. Also don't forget, unlike a Mustang, this one can be switched into four-wheel drive for true go-anywhere ability. No matter if you're on the street or trail, you'll appreciate features like power steering and front disc brakes. Value, features, and distinction all come on this flat-faced Ford. So if you're looking for the right mix of work and play, call today!
