this is a very nice 55 tbird that i purchased years ago at a major car auction - it was described as frame off restoration in 1986 - always garaged since - converted to 12 volts, but can be converted back - it has an aftermarket continental kit. 292 v8 - 4 way power seats, power windows, removeable hard top. runs great, i have only driven it about 5 times since i bought it as i have a large collection that i am getting down to 10. i have about 7 more to go. the frame and underneath of this car is great - just look at the pictures. a couple of days ago i started it for the first time in ages and it started right up. the power wndows are acting up a little where they don't go all the way up, and then sometimes not all the way down. i have a shop manual and other parts that were given to me to go with the car.
it's a fun car to drive. last time i drove it we were paid to bring that and my 56 chevy to a jay leno event at jfk library so people could take pictures in front of them. eveybody thought they were jay leno cars. comes with a RI registration as we are a no title state. you take a bill of sale and my actual registration and your stae or country will issue you a title. i have sold a few to other countries and it works the same way. one country just needed to print from the RI DMV site showing we are a no title state. the registration is our actual titles. i can be reached at 401-451-4551 if you have any questions. if you are shipping the car will be garaged until shipper arrives.
