It is one of 8,282 examples Ford made in 1931. This awesome truck has resided with the same loving owner for the past 11 years! Who remembers DINO??
It has been lovingly and beautifully restored – offering new green paint complete with period correct Sinclair livery, new chrome and mechanicals. The windshield is clear and in one piece, as are the side windows. There’s a driver’s-side windshield wiper and dual sideview mirrors. The truck’s bodywork is straight and solid. The fully-detailed engine bay and the cargo area, which is 46.4” wide by more than 59 inches wide, are both in excellent condition. On the tailgate are a fire extinguisher and a hand-crank fuel dispenser.
This Model A rolls on Garfield tires, size 4.75/5.00-19, each one surrounding a red wire wheel. The tires and wheels are all in very good order.
Under the hood is a 201 CID L-head inline four-cylinder engine buttoned to a three-speed sliding gear manual transmission.
Inside, the black bench seat is in excellent order and the black floor mat is in satisfactory shape. The wood headliner looks great over the driver’s head. The original four-spoke steering wheel is present while the green instrument panel and inner door liners are in very good order.
Competition to this Model A Panel in 1931 included Chevrolet’s Series AE Independence.
If you are a small business owner or work for a chamber of commerce, you cannot pass up this opportunity to acquire a charming rolling marketing opportunity from MotoeXotica Classic Cars. Ford and Model A fans will want to take a peek, too.
