1964 Ford Falcon Sedan Delivery Additional Info:
Rare, interesting, and upgraded, this 1964 Ford Falcon Sedan Delivery was restored by Falcon experts to be one of the most interesting classics around. When was the last time you saw a Falcon Sedan Delivery? In fact, we bet you might not have ever even seen one in-person before. After all, there are records that indicate that less than 800 of these were produced in 1964. So yeah, there are exotic sports cars out there with larger production numbers than this Ford. It does have a striking look to go with its rarity. The factory-correct Burgundy paint was redone during its restoration at The Falcon Farm a few years ago, and it still retains a nice luster today. This special Falcon has the silhouette of a Nomad-style wagon, and the long side panels that are the perfect place to hang a logo for your fictitious hot rod shop (or maybe a real logo, too!). The sporty look continues with the full-length spear side trim, bright dual exhaust tips, and 14-inch wheels that look like they were borrowed from a Shelby GT350 - a not-so-distant relative of this Falcon. Inside is the perfect mix of vintage and new. After all, you have the cool black and chrome appearance of the 1960s, but now there are also the best in modern amenities like ice-cold air conditioning and an AM/FM/CD stereo. You slip behind the factory-style wheel, and the extra-long speedo flanked by secondary gauges instantly reminds you of its Mustang sibling. Just in case you didn't pick up on that clue, those leather bucket seats you're sitting in are the extra comfy ones borrowed from a Fox-body Mustang GT. But this is proudly a Falcon. That's why you have emblems on everything from the dash, to running across the fully upholstered large cargo bay. But the best upgrade is saved for under the hood. The engine is a hidden gem. While subtle and tastefully upgraded on the exterior, this roller 302 with GT40 heads breathes strong and can be not-so-subtle when need be. Still, when you look beyond the style of the bright air topper, finned valve covers, and tidy hoses, there's the substance of some great performance upgrades. This includes a Holley four-barrel carburetor and a performance intake. All of this extra power makes a nice tone out of the dual exhaust. Plus, on the road, the lightweight body and enhanced power moves this van/wagon in a hurry. And you get to enjoy this V8 to the fullest thanks to the upgrade to a five-speed manual transmission. Plus, with power steering and front disc brakes, this is an easy anytime driver. There's even a Champion aluminum radiator to keep you running cool in traffic. Complete with restoration photos, this is the rare Ford Falcon that is an impressive total package. It's offered today for quite a nice price. So you know you need to hurry if you want to take it home. Call now!
