Mustang Convertible, 1969

1969 Ford Mustang Additional Info:

Posting for a friend so I may have to get back with you regarding any questions you may have.
This convertible belonged to the owners Father who restored it 20+ years ago. Still looks and runs great. It has a 302 engine and a 3 speed manual transmission in the floor. I have not taken the time to confirm if it's a numbers matching vehicle and the owner doesn't know. I can seefull length headers and an aluminum intake were installed. The points have been replaced with electronic pick-up as well.
The convertible top boot is in the trunk...I forgot to put it on for the pics

Some of the cons I have found are:

• It puts a drop or two of oil on the floor over a period of a week or so
• It blows a puff of blue smoke from the right tailpipe when first started (probably a dried out valve seal)
• The heater core has a leak and has been bypassed, therefore...no heat (it does have AC)
• Needs an antenna to make the AM radio work

The Pros:

• Beautiful car for the year (always garaged)
• Very strong running engine
• Sound is awesome (flowmaster mufflers)
• Trans shifts perfectly
• Drives very good, no bump steer or pulling to one side
• Power Top works perfectly
• Power Brakes (Disc on Front) will stop you on a dime
