Up for sale isa 1948 Ford DeLuxe Coupe In beautiful Black paint with very nicely donered cloth interior. This car is a low mile, rust free saviour with new paint, engine and interior. The original rust free body panels arestraight and all door gapsare nice, as is the hood & trunk fits. It has fender skirts, duel swan neck mirrors, back up light, blue dot tail lights, rear fender guards, all new glass, polished stainless, new chrome, perfect grill,all new wide white radial tires even a new spare, andthe carshows very well. (this is not a 10 footer) The interior is very well done with it's shinny black dash with new chrome, complete new interior in red cloth, brightoriginal gages, showing only 81182 original miles, deluxe radio, clock, and heater. (very nice) The original flathead V8 enginewasrebuilt by well known engine builder Jack Rohde. It starts easy, runs strong, has duel exhaust,it's also been converted to 12 volt, andthere isunder a 1000 miles on the engine.(one of the nicest running flatheads I have seen) It has it's original 3 speed transmission with shifter on the column.It shifts nice and the new clutch is smooth. Thebody has never been off the frame,so it is original on the under side. This is not a show car but a very nice driver. (one of the best I have seen) I'm listing this beautiful little Ford for a friend who is 88 years young, and dose not drive the car anymore.
