1979 Ford F-100 F-100 Custom Automatic, PS, PB, A/C Additional Info:

This truck practically has both a new motor and transmission, of course they are remanufacturedbut almost fresh out of the crate with less than 50 miles on both. So this Driveline is practically brand new. The engine is a 351 Windsor with p erformance lifters, rockers, valves, a high performance cam, Performance + (plus) intake manifold high-rise for max in/out (yeah!) and Polished to a T, a Holley 4-barrel carburetor for high performance, the Holley 4-barrel carburetor has an installed automatic chok, the engine has been converted from V-drive to Serpentine Drive which adds more horsepower, the engine has all high performance parts Including a high spark ignition, the F100 come standard With an automatic transmissio, power steering, power brakes which have all been gone through. I have had this truck for years but recently installed the engine and transmission when they were completed . As you can see, the engine is completely chromed-out and the block is painted Ford blue and the entire portion of the firewall and engine housing area has been degreased, cleaned and painted. The truck has an aftermarket heater core installed on the outside of the firewall so you don't have to dig it out it's actually in a pretty convenient location, it's kind of cool, if the heater core ever goes out it's easy to replace .I started this project truck many years back when I purchased the vehicle for its antique value alone. It's a straight truck, it's lines run true and I think it has a lot of potential. The floor pans are rusted as is the front of the bed which is indicative of this year model. The 1979 F-100 leaned toward the front, a little forward in the front and water had a tendency to pile along the front part of the bed and the floor pans were particularly exposed to road spray. Good truck. Awesome engine & transmission; alone over $6,000.00
