This is an older restoration with the majority of work done in 2001. I am selling this car for a friend who bought it fully restored from the builder of the car. The engine and trans were completely rebuilt at 66674 miles. The rebuild included hardened valve seats, cam, and stainless steel valves with resurfaced exhaust manifolds. I have the build sheet, but it is too extensive to list. This is a 351 Cleveland motor that runs excellent. It now has a total of 73966 original miles on it. It comes with a 1973 MK 3 disk brake rear end and a 74 Cougar tilt wheel. In the last 18 years, it has been driven a little over 7000 miles. It has been housed in an underground parking since he has owned it. All work was done by professionals and has documentation that comes with the sale to support it. The car has air lifts that have recently been gone through and work perfect. The paint is in excellent condition with one quarter size chip at the bottom of the tail gate. The interior is good with no tears or damage. The dash is mint. The window seals do not fit tight, and I think, they should be replaced. The engine compartment is clean and original but not pristine. I have tested everything and even the windshield washer works. The chrome on the mags is good, but it does show some minor wear when you get close. The light bezels show some pitting and would need chroming to be perfect. It has sure flow exhaust that give it a great sound. The power steering, power brakes, and AC have all been rebuilt. The AC blows cold. The two speed windshield wiper motor works, but the hidden park function does not retract. Over all, I would rate this car as a very nice Cruz night or Sunday car show ride. I have driven it about 100 miles, and it appears very reliable and dependable. It is a little hard to start when cold, but my guess is a choke adjustment. I cleaned the carb and put in a new accelerator pump, cleaned all jets, and installed a new soft tip float needle. The owner is extremely meticulous and has always maintained the car. I have described the car as accurately as possible and noted everything in its actual condition. The build and maintenance folder is about an inch thick. Good fortune to you!
