Hello, you are bidding on a 1965 Mustang coupe
Condition is as follows..
Drivetrain:
Overall a good driver. Fires up every time and runs good. Engine I was told by the previous owner, is original to the car but I have not verified that. Has great oil pressure and plenty of power. Has electronic ignition, Edelbrock Performer intake manifold600 cfm Holley carb, and a mild cam. The car runs a little rich at idle but I live at 6000 ft elevation. I was going to jet the carb down a step but if buyer lives near sea level it will probably run just fine as is. Also has a Northern aluminum radiator and electric fan. Trans is a C4 and shifts good. Rear end has highway friendly gears. Brakes work great, suspension appears to be in good condition overall. Tires have plenty of tread, wheels are Billet Specialties.
Interior:
As you can see, interior is in great shape needing only minor items here and there. Original headliner is in perfect condition. All gauges and electrical in good working condition, even the factory Rally pack tach. Original radio holes, uncut. The clock is the only thing that doesn't work.
Body:
Excellent body and floorsas you can see from the underbody and trunk pictures. Original color was burgundy and has one single paintjob over original. Color now is a dark plum which looks just short of black. This car looks to have all original Ford panels other than the drivers door which had been replaced at some point in the past. Thebody is completely rust free other than a small spot on the inside of the drivers door, but that's it. Unibody in the front doesn't appear to have ever been in and accident and the quarter panels inside the trunk look to be free of and kind of a major or minor accident.Doors open and close/fit good, window regulators work good. Lower drivers door hinge stop is broken and should be replaced at some point but works fine as is. Paint as you can see, looksvery presentableas is,but is a bit tired. Chrome on bumpers is excellent and most all of the trim on the car is in great condition.
Overall:
This car is a well above average condition driver that isn't loaded with bondo and doesn't have the typical mustang rust issues.
