1967 Ford Mustang S-Code GTA Additional Info:
True GTA S-code 2+2 car. Originally A/C pwr brakes manual steer, Auto Trans Fold rear seat. Candy Red, Calypso interior. Tennessee Title is in my name, clear. No Block or trans. I have the GT heads and exhaust manifolds. This car was a total rust bucket from the start. The body has new quarters, front floors, rear trunk shelves, firewall, one piece cowl, 2 aprons, rear valance (welded on), trunk lid, left wheel house/ outer right. Cobra Automotive One Piece Glass front end, New Hood stock length. Metal parts are from CJ pony parts, Dynacorn metal. 9 Inch rear factory, Factory Kelsey Hayes Front Disc. Car is a roller. I have misc new parts to go as well. Trac Bars, master bolt kit, hood hinges, etc. This car sat out for years and most of the takeoffs are rusty. I have two low seats and one high back. In pictures there are multiple boxes of takeoff parts. Rally grill, harnesses, nuts bolts, brake lines etc etc, I didn't throw it away, I boxed it up to use as patterns. The body is very close to paint. I noticed a small tear hole in the rear passenger floor, and another under the left tail piece. A few other mud areas to smooth out, floors etc. The doors, trunk fender gaps are right. Underneath the car is really nice. Could smooth out and paint or just undercoat and drive on. Rear quarters and vents have metal welded in with little mud. Could be returned to Fish gills and vents really easy. The whole body of the car has smoothing compound and is completely rust free with minimal compound. Best I can tell this car is about one of 2200 GTA 390 cars in 1967. The rest were GT 4 speed 15K or so. Dont buy a rusty car and fix on it. Start out with this solid piece of history in awesome shape. Build that restomod or pro-touring car. Thanks for taking time to read this.
