1968 Ford Mustang GT/CS Additional Info:
PLEASE NOTE: Comes with either an after market wood grain 3 spoke steering wheel or an OEM 1967 Pony woodgrain 3 spoke wheel, your choice. the original '68 seats have now been installed. everything on the engine is brand new. The engine has 50 psi oil pressure no smoke, raps, knocks or leaks, there is less then 200 miles on the aluminum heads, the engine is a recent rebuild ( .20 over bore with new pistons, B-303 cam ( a mild street cam) etc ) . The original AC parts have been removed and come with the car. The heater box is brand new but only has a new heater core installed as most buyers I believe will opt for a Classic Air or Vintage Air AC setup which come with a new evaporator. Comes with the original Rally wheels and caps, not the rims/tires pictured. The car has a Sirius satellite radio set up installed, all you'll need is the Onyx head and subscription, otherwise just use the brand new USA 4 am/fm/cd/ etc etc radio as is. The Rally Pac is installed like Shelby did in '68 except I used the tach and clock instead of the oil and amp gauges Shelby used. Temp, vacuum and volt gauges are installed in the radio opening. You have your choice of the edelbrock valve covers pictured or chrome Mustang Hi-Po valve covers. The Carter electric fuel pump feeds an original mechanical fuel pump . There is some rust on the underside of the torque boxes but they are structurally sound. The floors were repaired by the prior owner back in 1984 and are solid as is the trunk. The car was signed by Shelby at a car show in 1987 and the car was parked and never used again until I bought it in 2018. The paint job is not a "show job" but still cost $5500.00. The car is solid and can be driven anywhere. My buyers usually fly in and drive home as I like to sell "ready to drive" cars. Ive been on ebay almost 20 years ahve sold hundreds of cars have a 100% positive feedback rating. I try to describe the cars I sell as perfectly as possible. if you have any questions please contact me. If you are shipping I can meet your shipper on a main road as we live in the mountains.

I have received a few emails asking about the condition of the car when I located it. First, I forgot to mention the car has a deluxe overhead console, the map lights were rewired to act as courtesy lights. The family told me that over the 30 years the car was parked parts and pieces were removed ( stolen) from the car. When I found the car the trunk lid,the floor console and overhead console were missing, the rear valance was bent so I replaced that with a new Dynacorn valance, the grill and fog lights and instrument panel were missing, the holes for the hood locks were there but the locks were gone. The Thunderbird tail lights and the fiberglass panel were missing. The engine, a 289, started but would smoke on start up so I replaced it with a recently rebuilt 87 HO 5.0 roller motor with brand new aluminum heads, manifold and carb. The C4 transmission shifts strong, no leaks. I installed a new manual disk brake master brake cylinder. The door panels and instruments were gone and the carpet was faded so all of those were replaced. The exhaust was rusted so a new dual exhaust was installed along with the correct Mustang GT tips. Just about everything missing on the car has been replaced with new or OEM parts. The headliner is perfect, all the windows go up and down fine, no cracks. The car also has the "Deluxe" hood with built-in turn signals. The Rally Pac is installed under the dash like Shelby did, the floor console was trimmed to allow for the rally pac and the radio.
