UPDATE- The issue withthe carb is the choke not working correctly. I was messing with it today and actually broke it. Now I am having trouble getting her to start correctly and I killed the battery trying.... I am slashing the price $500 for the buy it now. Still accepting offers from people that can get her out of here sooner than later.
I have for sale a 1964 Ford Econoline E-100 Van. This van was a special order Olive Drab Green and sold for service to the US military. I was told it was a former Army Ambulance at fort Hood Texas. This is a window van. It is in running and driving condition but I wouldsuggest doing some work if you want it to be a daily driver. She needs is a new carb as the one in the van has a broken part on it and little things like the windshield wipers need to be connected. She will still start and drive. Breaks were just redone, so was a bunch of wiring. This van will start, go, and stop. The Body is in exceptionally good condition. One dent in the passenger door that can be fixed by a PDR guy. Had a ton of paint on her exterior over her army life. Seriously come check it out this thing is in awesome shape. The interior is original paint and looks crazy good. I have some extra bit that will go with the Van.
This is an excellent candidate for restoration. The only reasons I am selling is that I purchased this at thebeginning of the summer with the intent to rebuild the engine with Clifford performance parts and repaint her so I could have a car to drive around this winter, I have been a motorcycle only guy for a long time. Long story short I had to re-floor two rooms in my house and replace myAC in the last 3 months. I don't have the money to do what I wanted and I am entering the busiest part of my year. I don't want this to sit for months and I cannot afford to finish her right now.
There is no title. This is a former Army vehicle. Apparently the Army does not have titles. It has never been titled that I can tell. I went through all the steps, including a police inspection to get a title but ran into a water leak in my house that stopped me from ever actually getting it done. At this pint I would need to Strat all over and I do not have the time to do that. Will come with bill of sale.
Sold as is where is. Buyers responsibility to collect the Van. I am available to assist with viewing and can meet a shipper anytime. No warranties expressed or implied. While this van runs and stops I bought it as a project to redo it. Ihaven't driven it more than 5 or 6 miles at a time.
Awesome vintage Ford.Former Army AmbulanceOlive Drab Paint from the Ford factory.Excellent patina on the inside.Outside needs paint and very minor body work to be perfect.
Asking 4K OBO. Bring on the offers, I am a motivated seller.
