1988 Ford F-150 XLT lariat Additional Info:
I am selling a reliable '88 F150 4x4 work horse with a 4 speed w/ overdrive transmission. I unfortunately have to sell this truck because I upgraded to a bigger, newer f350, and do not want this thing to sit around and rot. It deserves to be driven and enjoyed because it has a lot of life left in it. The truck is a local Glen Burnie, Maryland pick up with minimal rust for MD. The original owner had the under belly sprayed with anti rust treatment, and it did the truck good. I put a lot of work and love into the truck: new oil pan, oil pump, intake manifold/ throttle body gasket, valve cover gaskets, PVC valve, upgraded the steel wheels to the aluminum wheels, put in a bed liner (the original liner will be included as well), new pacesetter long tube headers, custom 2.5 inch y pipe to a series 44 Flowmaster muffler to a side exit 2.5 inch pipe, custom cup holders in the arm rest. The previous owner had replaced quite a few things as well before selling it to me: new clutch, new alternator, upgraded to 31 inch A/T tires, bolted up a heavy duty hitch, replaced starter solenoid, new front tank, fuel pump, fuel send unit, and new radius arms.
This truck has a nice sound to it because of the new exhaust, and is very reliable. I have taken it on multiple 200+ mile trip and it performed well and presented no issues at all. The only rust is on the rear wheel wells (typical for fords) and a little spot of rust on the drivers side rocker panel (refer to the pictures). The cab corners and front fenders are rust free. The truck starts up every time in under 3 seconds. The transmission shifts smoothly and doesn't grind any gears. 4x4 works in 4 high and 4 low. The windshield has a crack in it from a pebble on the road but it has not expanded. I did not bother to replace the windshield because I have historic plates on it.
Take a look at the picture with all the paper work. The build sheet, vin plate card, all the manuals, past receipts, and a Miles Log with all the miles the original owner put on it while owning the truck. This truck has been well taken care of its whole life based on the manner the original owner had recorded all the information about the truck. The mile log also shows that the mileage is accurate, not altered, and the odometer rolled over only once. Odometer: 26,xxx miles. Actual miles: 126,xxx.
Also I have a complete 7'6" Meyers e47 plow. Parts include: complete wiring, manuals, frame attachment piece, plow with blade, plow mount with lights. The plow can move up, down, and tilt to the sides. I drained the hydraulic oil in hoped of replacing the seals, however somethings came up and it is on the back burner. The plow worked when it was taken off the truck.I wish I can post more pictures but I am only restricted to 24 by Ebay.
This truck can haul and make you money!
This truck can be driven home.I tried to include everything in the description, however, Please message me with any question that you might have.
HAPPY BIDDING!
