1960 Ford Thunderbird Additional Info:

You are bidding on a 1960 Ford Thunderbird in good running condition. It was repainted and put into storage in 1989.

I am relisting the T-Bird because thehigh bidder never followed through and paid for the car. When I finally did contact him torequest the $500 PayPal deposit he said he "would probably have to pace on the car for now".That's whata special champion does. Ok, moving right along...

The car has a clean Minnesota title with no issues. Rest assured that my reserve is very realistic and not "out there" beyond it's actual value.

The driver's door data platereads as follows:vin# 0Y71Y134833; Body 63A; Color ZM; Trim 76; Date 193; Trans 4; Axle 3.

The 352 c.i. engine runssmoothly with no issues and the Cruise-o-Matic transmission shifts properly with no issues. The power steering works as it should and there are no leaks from any fluids underneath the car. The brakes will need work (master and wheel cylinders)and the exhaust system needs to be replaced.

Thehood, nose, front fenders, roof, doors, trunk lid and original fender skirtsare all very straight and solid with no rust issues (all factory sheet metal inner-folds are very nice). There aresome areasof rustas follows: The left-front inner fender has a golf ball sized hole in the outer bottom corner, the passenger side inner fender is solid. The majority of the car's floorboards are solid. There are two small areas on the driver's floor front corner and one small hole in the outer-front of the left rear passenger floor. The front passenger floor has a patch at the front area and the rear passenger floor is solid. There are some quarter-sized holes in the inner rear quarter wheel openings. The majority of the trunk is very solid. There is a small patch on the right rear corner and the bottom of the spare tire well has small holes. The uni-body frame is solid throughout. I have hadfour of these 1958 to 1960 Squarebirds including convertibles and this body is not too bad at all in regard to rust issues.

The factory original tinted glass has no cracks or chips. The windshield has light gravel specks, the side and rear glass have no flaws. The stainless window and roof trim have no flaws.

If you would like additional photos of the car with the floorboards, trunk and lower body close-ups send me a message with your email address. I do not want any trades and will gladly assist in loading the car for transporting to your destination.

With one weekend oftime invested, this could be a very good drivable T-Bird for you to enjoy!

Thanks for looking and good luck!
