STK 2430 1931 Ford Roadster Replica This is an well engineered 1931 Ford Roadster Replica that has been detailed to perfection. The heart of the machine is a refined chassis and sophisticated suspension that safely handles the powerful drivetrain. Horsepower is furnished by a 400ci GM small block that was totally rebuilt in 2012. It is equipped with a mild cam, an aluminum intake and six 2-barrel carburetors. (Only the center two are currently active.) Spark is furnished by an... MSD ignition and fumes are routed through Hooker stainless headers and dual exhaust. A manually operated electric cooling fan is available as needed. Behind the small block is a GM 350 Turbo-Hydramatic transmission and a 9" Ford differential with moderate gearing (est 3.73:1). The detailed chassis utilizes a dropped front axle/leaf spring front suspension with radius rods and multi-link coil-over rear suspension. Front GM calipers/discs and are mated with huge rear drums. This street rod was truly designed, not just put together. The '31 fiberglass body was carefully finished in 2-stage Corvette Radar Blue with 'ghost' flames - it is stunning. A chopped windshield is tinted and the grill shell style is the 'Deuce'. Classic Cragar 5-spoke alloy wheels with 'knock-off' spinners mount BFGoodrich Radial T/As. The driver's compartment is impressive. High-grade white vinyl with blue piping is accented by plush carpeting and a custom dash holds a full set of 'classic' Dolphin analog gauges. The tilt steering column mounts a handsome leather-wrapped alloy Lecarra wheel and a Kenwood CD stereo provides sounds. This handsome street rod is the ultimate Saturday Night cruiser. It will soon make one new owner very proud. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS"
