1930 Ford Model A Standard Roadster Additional Info:

For Sale :February 1930 Blue Ribbon Ford Model A Standard Roadster. Black with red pin stripes. This car is an original Model A built as a fine point judging show car and received a first place in 1993 and in 1995 at Model A Restorers Club national meets. I have owned the car since May 2002. I have turned the car into a nice driver with many updates. The odometer now show just over 3800 miles. I purchased it with 900 miles. I have had a standard engine rebuilt with insert bearings and new rods, lightened flywheel, V8 pressure plate. High compression head, modern points distributor, leakless water pump and aluminum fan. I installed high speed rear end gears, new brakes with brake bands installed on the drums. New Firestone tires on powder coated wheels and metal valve stem tubes. All 4 original shocks rebuilt. The body and fenders are beautiful, but there is a very small dent on drivers door. I was told that the fenders were all new old stock (NOS). It also has a beautiful steering wheel, working pop out ignition switch with 2 keys. Beautiful original gas and radiator cap, headlights, radiator shell and cowl band. Nice chrome plated bumpers. This car being a Standard, has a trunk, NO rumble seat. It come with a full set of side curtains under the seat. (I have never had them on the car). Accessories include, Air maze engine air filter, oil fill vent, stainless spare tire tread cover, 2 rear view mirrors on wind wings and a tan colored top boot, (I have never had on the car). I have driven the car to National meets at French Lick Indiana, Toledo / Perrysburg Ohio, as well as Model A day at the Gilmore Museum in Michigan. It has a clear Indiana title with a non model a VIN number, the engine block is stamped with a correct Model A VIN number. If the car does not sell to someone in the state of Indiana, I would like to keep the front Indiana license plate. The car is located in Huntington, Indiana. The car will remain with me until all money transactions have cleared.
